Commissions
A piece made for one wall
A commission begins with a conversation and ends with the work on your wall. Four stages, in order.
Conversation. Your wall, the light it gets, the scale you have in mind, and the feeling you want in the room. Nathalie quotes the piece individually at the end of this stage, in writing, with a delivery estimate.
Palette study. Small poured samples, made for your piece and seen in your own light, before anything larger is committed.
Staged approvals. Resin is worked in layers over several weeks. You see photographs at each pour and sign off before the next layer goes down.
White-glove delivery. Insured crating, delivery and installation, and the signed Certificate of Authenticity handed over with the finished work.
Commissioned work is final sale. Resin cannot be un-poured, and a piece made for your wall is made for that wall only. This is why the approvals are staged: your confidence should come from watching the piece take shape, not from a return window.
